    Job Description:

    Client: Engineering, Systems Integration, Fabrication (Civil Engineering)

The company holds a GSA Schedule to support Government projects and has teams across the US.

    Responsibilities:
    • Become a key player in the engineering team at the Portsmouth, NH location
    • Support projects throughout New England
    • Support projects, clients, and company offices nationwide
    • Remain current, innovate, and grow in capability supporting the engaging, dynamic, and expanding multi-disciplinary group
    • Support diverse projects involving vertical construction and other related Civil Engineering tasks in commercial, industrial, and Federal markets
    • Provide a full set of engineering and design capabilities in support of multiple, concurrent projects ranging in construction value from $100K to $100M
    • Mentoring of junior engineers and supervision of sub-consultants such as fire protection, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and environmental engineers

    Qualifications:
    • A minimum of five years of relevant work experience at an engineering/architectural consulting firm, manufacturing firm, or construction firm
    • A Licensed Professional Civil Engineer with the ability to obtain licensure in multiple states nationwide is preferred.
    • Experience and knowledge of site design including building infrastructure layout, utilities, accessibility, stormwater, lighting, landscaping, and environmental protection
    • Experience from conceptual planning and permitting through to construction/completion.
    • Experienced and knowledgeable in current industry design standards (e.g., LID)
    • An interest and ability to identify and lead new technologies and practices
    • An understanding and familiarity with current planning/zoning standards, industry codes, and standards (IBC, ASCE, ASTM, ANSI, etc.)
    • An ability to identify and reference applicable codes and standards and interpretation of such specific to the associated design
    • A working knowledge and proficiency with CAD and BIM software including Autodesk (Civil 3D), HydroCAD, and other industry software tools. Revit knowledge is also a plus.
    • An ability to organize and complete field assignments including site assessments, engineering investigations, and construction documentation.
    • A fundamental knowledge and a general understanding of engineering disciplines including Environmental, Architecture, Structural, and MEP
    • Experience with Federal/DoD design standards and guides
    • Advanced technical writing skills and ability to compose professional documents (letters, proposals, reports)
    • Public presentation capabilities
    • Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Project a plus
    Right to Work:
