Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist to join our team. The Data Entry Specialist will play a critical role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records for our healthcare facility. This is a 6-month contract position. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The candidate will be responsible for entering, updating, and verifying data while ensuring data quality and integrity.
Responsibilities:
Enter data into databases and maintain accurate records
Verify data and correct any errors or inconsistencies
Collect data from various sources and input it into the system
Organize and maintain files and documents
Perform basic math calculations when necessary
Type, transcribe, and format documents as needed
Assist with other clerical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
Proven experience in data entry or in a similar role (recent college graduates are also encouraged to apply)
Proficiency in using office software such as Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Fast typing skills with high accuracy
Familiarity with databases and data entry systems
All candidates will be required to receive their flu vaccination.
