The
Program Support and Data Entry Specialist will report directly to the Director of Union County Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) Program and the MHANJ Program Specialist.

This position will encompass roles and responsibilities deemed appropriate by same noted above and will include, but is not limited to, data entry and analysis, electronic case management entry, conversion of paper documents into appropriate systems, and programmatic administrative duties.


Description of Program:

The Mental Health Association in New Jersey's Intensive Family Support Services (IFSS) is a county-wide support program for families of relatives with mental illness.

Throughout New Jersey, many families take an active role in care for a relative who has mental illness. This can be an especially difficult and challenging task. IFSS provides tangible coping skills to address these challenges.

IFSS is open to all Union County Families with a relative with mental illness; the family member does not have to be in treatment for the family to receive services.

IFSS was designed with extensive input and assistance from families caring for relatives with a long history of serious mental illness.


Responsibilities to Include:


  • Paper Document Conversion and Case Management Data Entry
  • Data Entry and Analysis (Performance Indicators, Survey Responses, etc.)
  • Maintenance, data entry, and compliance assistance county, state, and federal funding opportunities.
  • Provide reports and analytics of program based on program outcomes and services.
  • Creating and managing written communication.
  • Attending and participating in staff meetings, training, events.
  • Community and Family Engagement (Flyers, Mailing List Maintenance, social media, etc.).
  • Advocacy with consumers within the community when needed.
  • Work collaboratively with outside agencies and organizations.
  • Any other duties that supervisor(s) deem appropriate.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum high school diploma/GED
  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in data entry and/or electronic case management
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Teams, Excel Proficient), Constant Contact, Social Media platforms, and Survey Monkey.
  • Ability to multitask, excellent time management, and be selfmotivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Ability to present self in a positive manner and reflect the positive values of MHANJ.
  • Exhibit enthusiasm, respect, adaptability, flexibility, and spirit of cooperation in the work environment.
  • A strong sense of, and respect for confidentiality.
  • Ability to work in a variety of settings with culturally diverse individuals and communities with the ability to be culturally sensitive and appropriate.
  • Excellent communication skills/customer service and organizational skills.
  • Valid NJ Driver's License in good standing & reliable transportation required.

$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
