_Remote & Occasional Travel, In-Office required_**The Quality Assurance Specialist will support CPLC's Home Study and Post Release Services (HSPRS) for Unaccompanied Children (UC). The role will focus primarily on data entry, quality assurance and analysis, and compliance with monitoring and reporting requirements and is directly supervised by the Reports Manager. Working closely with all staff and leadership within the HSPRS program, and in concert with CPLC ITMS, Compliance Safety and Risk, and other departments as appropriate. May also work with, local community social service providers, and vulnerable children, and their Sponsors. The Quality Assurance Specialist helps to monitor the quality of child protection programming by ensuring that data, documentation, and case files are accurate, uniform across offices, and in compliance based on funder and contractual requirements.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor's degree is required, preferably with a concentration in business administration, international affairs/policy management, nonprofit management, finance, and accounting, etc.
  • At least two years of related professional experience, preferably with immigrant services and in a nonprofit or social service environment
  • Proven organizational experience with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, set priorities, effectively manage time, demonstrate timeliness, and meet deadlines with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written; bilingual language skills in Spanish preferred.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and work as a team member with collaborative partners, community, and clients in a crosscultural, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Must be cleared and approved by Office of Refugee Resettlement and background check including FBI fingerprints and Child Abuse and Neglect checks required upon hire.
  • Must be 21 years or older.
  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel) and a variety of online database systems, managing files and records, designing forms and other office procedures and terminology.
  • Strong analytical skills and abilities.
  • Must be selfmotivated, work well independently and on a team;
  • Must have good written and verbal skills;
  • Must have good critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
