Overview:
The Pharmacy Trainer works to implement the training program for the commercially available pharmacy dispensing systems, i.e. LTC 400, Frameworks,etc.


Responsibilities:


  • Develops training curriculum and maintains training materials
  • Delivers the training necessary to operationalize pharmacies on LTC 400 or Frameworks (whatever dispensing system is used), satisfying company goals and objectives related to training delivery and project timelines
  • Delivers classroom instruction, over the shoulder training, and provides operations support
  • Adapts content presented to trainees based on their learning style, ability, personality, or performance
  • Makes recommendations and implements changes to improve initiatives and/or specific training programs
  • Solicits feedback, validates customer acceptance
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years combined experience working in a health care, retail, or Institutional pharmacy setting, with Long Term Care Pharmacy experience preferred
  • Previous experience delivering training and producing documentation, as Pharmacy Technician
  • Operations or Information Technology Support experience preferred
  • 2+ years' experience on LTC 400 or Frameworks is beneficial, not required
  • Phenomenal communication, presentation, and public speaking skills required
  • Organizational and time management skills required
