Conroe, TX


/OBJECTIVE:


The Process Technician plays an impactful role in maintaining manufacturing process stability and contributing to the optimization of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).

This position involves executing manufacturing processes, supporting the development of process improvements, and collaborating with engineering teams to enhance process efficiency and product quality.

Responsibilities:


  • Support the development and execution of manufacturing processes in coordination with engineering teams.
  • Monitor process variables, measurements, and controls to ensure process stability.
  • Assist in the creation, review, and adherence to process SOPs.
  • Participate in the training of operators and quality technicians, ensuring they are equipped to meet process requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers to implement new process and product improvements.
  • Contribute to research efforts aimed at uncovering new manufacturing process capabilities.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or relevant field.
  • 35 years in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Practical experience in operating and basic troubleshooting of process issues.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problemsolving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Work Environment
***This job operates in a professional office and manufacturing environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.


Physical Demands

  • Moderate walking and climbing
  • Physically able to conduct inspections and carry equipment used for inspections
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; and stoop
  • Regular, predictable attendance is required

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday.

Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.


Travel
You also will need to be able to travel up to 50% of the time.
