Position Summary:
- This recruitment is for a Temporary Custodian position through UCI's internal temporary staffing service. This position can be based out of the UC Irvine campus. Under the supervision of the Sr. Custodial Supervisor or Assistant Custodial Supervisor the incumbent is responsible for the cleaning of facilities in Housing as assigned.
daily floor care, dusting, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen cleaning, cleaning of fixtures and furniture, interior trash removal, window cleaning, and additional tasks as necessary to ensure all facilities are maintained at a high level of cleanliness.
Compensation Range:
- $19.47/hour (within full range of $19.47- $20.26/hour).
Required:
Custodial or related cleaning experience.
Ability to follow, model and promote conduct that adheres to the University of California Principles of Community. Ability to use cleaning equipment. Knowledge of cleaning chemicals. Communicate in English. Ability to follow instructions. Work independently and as part of a team. Communicate with staff, supervisor and residents.
TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT
- The majority of our temporary positions are Monday
- Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. We also have occasional parttime, weekend, and evening hours available, depending on the assignment. Comprehensive benefits options are also available for temporary employees, including paid vacation, holidays, and sick leave.
