We are looking for proactive, adaptable and motivated Technica l Specialist with 5 years of experience supporting Field Operations, Relay/Automation Ops, Regulatory Compliance or Commissioning group with technical resources, have industry advanced knowledge with substation equipment installation, maintenance or compliance areas.

In addition, this position will develop updates to standards, policies and procedures used within the department, along with implementation of updated programmatic changes.

Preferred Experience

Typically possesses 57 years' experience in the field performing analysis, consulting, and providing recommendations.
Bachelor's degree in specialized field or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Specialized education or certification may be required.
Advanced knowledge in the core function that is being supported

Roles and Responsibilities

Performs indepth analysis, develops recommendations, and may provide consulting to address company or customer problems/issues.
Develop initiatives, advisories, and other technical documentation to support applicable department (ex. Substation, Transmission, etc.) equipment.
Develops new tools, process and procedures to support changing requirements or new technologies.
Leads and participates in cross functional teams during implementation of specialized technical projects.
Provides consultative services on an asneeded basis to department or division management, customers, and client organizations on specialized technical issues.
Provides technical analysis and recommendations, after considering various alternatives, which typically have a moderate impact at the department and/or organizational level.
