Description

• Responsible for assisting in any assigned production assignment given by Production Manager.
• Responsible for the cleaning/general housekeeping of any task assigned by the production manager.
• Responsible for following the Allergen Program during any assigned task.
• Responsible for following all Food Safety guidelines set by the FDA and all other certifying authorities such as, SQF, NFC and Orthodox Union, at all times and contributing to the plant's Food Safety Culture.
• Responsible for following ALL Plant Safety Rules and OSHA Rules: understand and follow plant safety rules including/but not limited to safe lifting practices, safety on machine operations.

• High School Graduate or GED equivalent

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in General Labor in the food industry.
• Experience with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)

• Excellent communication, written and grammatical skills.
• Ability to read, speak and write in English
• Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) plant safety and OSHA requirements
• Proven success with working in a team environment.

• Exposure to food allergens, wheat, nuts, coconut, soy products
• May work additional overtime including weekends
