- Typical hours are 8:30 a.m. 12:50 p.m.
- Start date is August 26, 2024 and end date is June 10, 202
- Emmanuel Preschool follows the Alexandria City Public School calendar for winter and spring break
Duties
- Collaborate with classroom coteacher(s) for planning lessons and activities that are centered around playbased learning
- Provide positive and impactful learning experiences
- Provide two parentteacher conferences annually
- Attend teacher workdays before and after the school year (included in dates provided), monthly staff meetings, and professional developments throughout the year
Requirements:
- Passionate about the value of playbased learning for young children
- Possess and utilize an understanding of children?s emotional needs
- Effectively communicate with entire preschool community including directors and administrators, fellow teachers, and families of students
Nice To Haves
- Possess a BA in early childhood education OR
- At least 2 years of classroom experience
