Primary Responsibilities:

Unloads, moves, and stores a variety of materials, parts, or products using standardized procedures.
Unloads incoming materials: checks identification, reports shortages or damage, moves, stores, stacks, and arranges.
Moves materials between departments and lines: follow routing or tickets to fill orders from storage, stock, or other departments. Loads materials for shipping: place materials on pallets, trays, racks, etc., and install strapping, bracing, or padding.
Operate a power lift truck, hand truck, dolly, or other device. Will be responsible for records of materials.
Must have knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
Other assigned duties

Required Skills:

Ability to work with your hands
Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Ability to lift and/or move 25 pounds, and up to 50 pounds
Basic computer skills
Basic reading, writing, arithmetic (shop math), and comprehensive skills
Proven capabilities using hand tools
Production knowledge, mathematical skills, problem-solving skills, observational skills, communication skills, analytical skills
Basic mechanical skills
Use of computer system software
Teamwork orientation

Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):

Safety Glasses
Hearing Protection
Protective Clothing
Electrostatic Dissipative (ESD) Steel Toe Shoes

Required Education/Experience:

0-1 years of shipping and receiving experience
High School Diploma or GED

Preferred:

Forklift experience
Work is scheduled Monday through Friday. Shifts are 8 hours with multiple shifts. Employees MUST be flexible and may be required to change shifts.
