EQR's Construction Division is hiring
Assistant Project Manager(s) to support and learn the role of Project Management within our Ecological Construction Department.
This position is an excellent entry point and provides the training required to transition to a full Project Manager role.
Must be willing to work in and around Water, Forests, Wetlands, on Shorelines, completing Stream Restoration, Wetland Restoration and creation, Storm Water, and Shoreline Resiliency construction work.
Responsibilities include:
- Assists with Project Management of largescale environmental Construction projects, aimed at improving water quality, native forests in the Chesapeake Bay watershed, and beyond.
- Overall responsibility for the success of assigned projects
- Highly autonomous yet handson responsibility for project implementation
- Understanding and directing contract conditions and scope of work in the field
- Assists with developing and maintaining a schedule
- Assists with developing and maintaining monthly pay requisitions
- Collects and prepares necessary Quality Assurance/Quality Control reports
- Ensures compliance with all contract conditions by working with assigned Project Manager
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1+ years progressive experience in construction, previous government work a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to help manage multiple assignments
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Computer literate
- Experience with planting accounting software a plus (Viewpoint)
Pay Range:
$ / Hour

This position will be based in the Richmond Virginia area and will include local travel and training in Maryland.

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
