Position Overview:


As a GAAP Accountant in our practice, you will play a key role in supporting GAAP compliance efforts for our clients.

This position is well-suited for a self-motivated accountant who thrives on collaborative work, enjoys building client relationships, and actively contributes to the success of small businesses.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide GAAP compliance expertise for a variety of small business clients.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with GAAP standards.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of financial data, offering insights to clients for informed decisionmaking.
  • Collaborate with clients on accounting policies, ensuring adherence to GAAP principles.
  • Assist with financial audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and communicate their impact to clients.
  • Offer general accounting support, including bookkeeping and financial advisory services.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in GAAP compliance within a public accounting firm or similar setting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online & Desktop) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building client relationships.
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet client deadlines.
  • Familiarity with tax regulations and small business financial planning.
