    Established in 1998, MRG specializes in Independent Medical Exams for Worker's Compensation, Disability, and Veterans Administration.

    Job Overview

    • Do you enjoy reviewing medical records and completing assessment questionnaires to aid Veterans?

    Description

    We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on US Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

    In this role, you will electronically review behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conduct thorough in-person assessments with each Veteran.

    You will also fill out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) via the Web Portal.

    The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; that responsibility lies with the US Veterans Administration, utilizing the information from the DBQs.

    This position exclusively involves Disability Assessments on Veterans. There is no treatment or medication prescription involved.

    The Licensed Psychologist will evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.

    This is an In-Person role, and the Licensed Psychologist will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.

    Schedule 3 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday)

    Requirements

    MRG Exams seeks a Licensed Psychologist who:

    • Holds a Ph.D. or Psy.D from an APA-accredited program/school
    • Has an active & unrestricted Psychology license
    • Meets the VA's credentialing requirements
