Job Overview
Description
We are searching for a Licensed Psychologist to conduct medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.
As a Disability Assessor, your responsibilities include electronically reviewing behavioral health records via a secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran.
You will also be tasked with filling out Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal.
The Licensed Psychologist's role does not involve making disability determinations. The U.S. Veterans Administration is responsible for all disability assessments, partly based on the information documented in the DBQs.
This position solely focuses on performing Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be no treatment or prescription of medication involved.
The Licensed Psychologist is expected to evaluate and assess an average of 3 (sometimes 4) Veterans per day.
You will be engaged as an Independent Contractor.
Schedule 3 days a week (Mon, Tue, Wed)
This position requires IN-PERSON presence.
