    Description

    The Maintenance Manager oversees the Maintenance team, ensuring their safety, setting departmental goals, and optimizing performance. They provide technical leadership to address equipment reliability gaps and identify root causes of equipment failures. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager coordinates work order processes and collaborates with other organizational groups to align maintenance plans with operational objectives.

    Leadership and Direction:

    • Supervising, directing, and coordinating the Maintenance team's activities.
    • Ensuring the safety of the work group.
    • Setting and achieving departmental goals.
    • Optimizing team and individual performance.

    Technical Leadership:

    • Providing insight and technical expertise to identify and resolve root causes of equipment failures.
    • Proactively addressing equipment reliability gaps.

    Administrative Duties:

    • Administering company and plant policies related to team members.
    • Participating in Daily Direction Setting activities.
    • Engaging in operations performance gap analysis.

    Project Management:

    • Managing repair-oriented capital projects.
    • Developing ongoing leadership capability plans for Maintenance leaders.

    Work Order Processes:

    • Supporting the development and improvement of work order planning and scheduling processes.
    • Prioritizing planned work.
    • Ensuring adherence to work order guidelines.

    Safety Leadership:

    • Prioritizing employee safety as the primary objective.
    • Modeling safe behaviors and practices.
    • Participating in the plant safety

    Technical Knowledge:

    • Deep understanding of electrical and mechanical components used in an industrial environment.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering Discipline or equivalent experience.
    • Maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.

    Experience:

    • 5-7 years of relevant experience.
    • Maintenance leadership experience in a food manufacturing environment is preferred.
    • Strong leadership and leadership development skills.
    • Project management skills.
