Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to work alone or as part of a team
  • Willing to talk to clients, medical providers, insurance companies, etc. as needed (if you do not like talking with others and maintaining a friendly and cordial relationship, this is probably not the job for you)
  • Ability to pay very close attention to detail
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Great computer skills
  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Someone who is genuinely interested in legal work
  • Spanish Speaker

Preferred:
(not required)

  • Basic Knowledge of Personal Injury laws and procedures
  • Has worked as a front office receptionist or secretary

Responsibilities:

The Assistant will work directly with our Personal Injury department and other departments within the Firm

  • Answering phones and taking meticulous notes on cases
  • Opening mail (physical & electronic), organizing and redistributing it to whom it belongs to.
  • Sending mail, scanning and filing documents for cases.
  • Assist in locating and retrieving files
  • Communicate with clients as needed regarding appointments and work with clients to provide required documents on files as needed by Attorney
  • Provide support to the staff and Attorney in entering information for cases, scanning, filing, and sending mail.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management and/or Team Leaders

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time


Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
