Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Structural Designer/EIT, we'll count on you to:
- Conduct analyses to develop design options or recommendations and assist in the preparation of cost estimates and specifications for structural engineering projects
- Demonstrate experience in structural drafting of all phases of the construction documents, and create structural drawings in AutoCAD and Revit from engineering sketches and instruction
- Work independently on small projects or assist more senior engineers on larger projects
- Will work on projects for all Business Groups (Water, Federal, Transportation, and Resource)
- Give direction to clerical and technical personnel as needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Relevant coursework or experience in facility structural engineering design
- Microsoft Office, AutoCAD & REVIT, RISA, or similar analytical software
- Previous structural design experience (internship or fulltime work experience) is a plus
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employeeowned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in facility structural engineering design

The expected compensation range for this position in New York City is $72,000 - $111,119 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
