Job Title:
Sit-Down Forklift Operator


Shift Schedule: 3/4 (3 days on, 4 days off) from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM


Hourly Pay:
$20.00 per hour


Location:
Lower Buckeye / Cotton Ln.


Key Responsibilities:


Forklift Operation:


  • Operate sitdown forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise.
  • Ensure the safe and efficient handling of materials to prevent damage or injury

Loading and Unloading:


  • Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, skids, or lifting devices.
  • Secure goods using appropriate equipment and ensure proper stacking to prevent damage during transportation

Inventory Control:


  • Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Report any discrepancies or issues promptly to supervisors

Safety Compliance:


  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks and report any maintenance needs

Schedule Compliance:


  • Follow the assigned 3/4 schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications:


  • Experience: Previous experience operating sitdown forklifts in a warehouse setting. Double forklift attachment experience. (3+ years prefered)
  • Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance is crucial for this role.
