    Job Description

    The runner position is an independent contractor position that functions that works in in coordination with the Production Manager. Runners are responsible for completing tasks such as running errands, delivering messages, and performing various other duties as assigned.

    PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Builds solid, professional relationships with artists and clients. Provides immediate, friendly, and personalized service to enhance their experience.
    2. Coordinates food and beverage orders / food deliveries.
    3. Assists with running errands, such as picking up merchandise, supplies or equipment.
    4. Ensures stage and green room are clean and clutter free.
    5. Assists with various deliveries and production needs.
    6. Moves with a sense of urgency.
    7. Adheres to all company policies and procedures as established in the Staff Handbook.

    The above-listed duties are not all inclusive. This position is expected to perform other work-related duties as assigned even though they may not be considered primary duties.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Experience Required:

    • Prior experience in similar role preferred
    • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent, preferred
    • Must have valid driver's license, clean driving record, and proof of comprehensive auto insurance

    Skills and Knowledge Required:

    1. Thorough knowledge of the local area (streets, shops, eateries, etc.)
    2. Strong attention to detail
    3. Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
    4. Excellent service orientation.
    5. Excellent interpersonal skills and focus on serving others.
    6. Good written and verbal communication skills.
    7. Good command of the English language.
    8. Ability to listen to and understand requests.
    9. Ability to remain calm when working under pressure.
    10. Good judgment and decision-making skills.
    11. Reliable, responsible, and dependable.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high energy, and physically demanding environment.
    • Must be able to stand, walk, and reach for prolonged periods.
    • Must be able to carry loads greater than 35 pounds and exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently.
    • Able to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction.
    • Able to work in environment with moderate to high noise levels.
    • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
    • Able to work varied shifts, including evenings, late nights, weekends, and holidays.
