Are you interested in working with smart machines and making the production world more sustainable? Then choose to study Digital Engineering in Mechanical Engineering with an apprenticeship as an electrical specialist (w/m/d) at Penn Farms and bring together new IT technologies with the world of mechanical engineering.

As a Digital Engineer (w/m/d), you will take responsibility for a sustainable, resource- and climate-friendly future.

You will work at the interface between computer science and mechanical engineering and use digital applications to solve technical problems.

You will use the latest techniques, such as artificial intelligence and the digital twin, to create more sustainable solutions in production and smart machines and systems.


Digital Engineers (w/m/d) work in production and quality management, as well as in service and sales, in areas such as robotics, 3D printing, and laser technology.

You will learn about production and automation technology, as well as mathematical and scientific fundamentals, engineering informatics/mathematics, project management, and sustainability.

You will also gain knowledge in technical mechanics, manufacturing processes, and materials technology, and explore topics such as artificial intelligence, big data, and the technology of the digital twin.
