As one of the largest training facilities in Saxony, we offer a wide range of training opportunities and a modern and practical training program.


We are currently offering a training program in cooperation with the Semper Bildungsakademie for the position of
Medical Technologist for Functional Diagnostics.

The training will begin on September 1st, 2023 and will last for 3 years.


During your training as an MTF, you will gain knowledge and experience in various functional diagnostic areas such as pulmonology, audiology (ENT diagnostics), cardiology, neurology, and angiography.

You will learn how to independently plan and conduct functional diagnostic tests, including EKG, EEG, TSA, vascular ultrasound, and body plethysmography, among others.


In addition to mastering the equipment and techniques used in these tests, you will also learn how to ensure quality, check for accuracy, and evaluate the results you produce.

These results will be used by medical specialists to determine the best treatment for our patients.

Your training at the University Hospital Dresden will also focus on developing skills such as empathy and effective communication with patients and their families, as well as working in an interdisciplinary team.


Requirements:


  • Good to excellent secondary school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of physical fitness for the profession
  • Passing an entrance exam
  • Strong interest and understanding in technical and scientific subjects
