Job Description and Qualifications:

We are seeking a Site Manager at our Air Separation facility in Santa Clara, California.

This position will provide operating and leadership support to the Air Separation, Maintenance, and Distribution Teams supplying both Pipeline and Liquid Bulk customers.

This position will report to the West Region Line Manager.

The Santa Clara Facility consists of multiple operating units including:

  • (3) Air Separation Units (ASU)
- (1) Product Liquefier
- (2) Customer Located Low-Capacity Nitrogen Generators (HPN Plant)

  • Distribution Terminal including:
  • Terminal Supervisor
  • Professional Driving Team
  • Vehicle Maintenance Technicians
  • Large volume of Liquid Storage with a pipeline backup system
  • 85mile Nitrogen Pipeline feeding key electronics customers throughout Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, San Jose, Milpitas, and Fremont


High Purity Nitrogen compressed gas is transported via pipeline, which is connected into a central pipeline header traveling through several cities surrounding the Santa Clara metropolitan area.

In addition, liquid Oxygen, Mega Class Oxygen, Nitrogen, and Pure Argon are produced or received to support a significant Liquid Bulk business within the Western Region.


Key responsibilities for this position include:

  • Administer all phases of the 24x7 operation, including distribution, maintenance, project execution, equipment reliability, HR guidance, leadership, cost control, asset management, and alignment with regional business needs
  • Interface and maintain good relationships with local customers and the City of Santa Clara
  • Leadership of the Basic Safety Process with responsibility for the site's overall safety performance.
  • Manage environmental and regulatory standards including the timely completion of all EH&S compliance requirements.
  • Support all aspects of the daytoday operation, including process review, managing daily plant operation and distribution activities, and all reporting requirements.
  • Provide leadership to site supervisors and engage regional support resources to achieve productivity and improvement targets in all areas.
  • Lead, motivate, and support individual and team growth through engagement and career development planning.
  • Identify maintenance concerns and implement corrective or preventative measures.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure all products and services meet superior performance expectations while achieving all contractual specifications.
  • This is a safety sensitive position.

Qualifications:


  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minium of 5+ years of industrial / supervisory experience in similar plants or operations of similar complexity (Air Separation experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated managerial leadership and interpersonal skills
  • A track record of success in Safety, Environmental, and Quality
  • A strong commitment to employee engagement, team building, and diversity
  • A track record in driving continuous improvement
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Community engagement experience would be helpful in this role
  • A commitment to continuous improvement

INDGIG
In California, the expected pay range is $155,880 - $222,170, plus Company bonus. This is the pay range that we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
