- Collaborate with technology vendors and suppliers for integration of cutting-edge solutions.
- Manage the transition of new products from prototype to full-scale production.
- Optimize manufacturing processes post-launch to enhance productivity and quality.
- Develop testing protocols to ensure new products meet performance specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate with development teams for product testing and validation in manufacturing settings.
- Develop safety protocols and conduct Job Safety Analyses (JSA) for new processes and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and standards.
- Collaborate with planning teams to achieve quoted cycle time efficiencies.
- Analyze and optimize production schedules and equipment utilization.
- Train manufacturing personnel on new equipment and processes.
- Facilitate knowledge transfer between product development and manufacturing teams.
- Work with quality assurance to maintain high-quality standards for new products.
- Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with regulatory requirements using the EDP (Engineering Development Process) phase gate process.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related field; relevant experience considered.
- Experience in rubber and plastic product manufacturing highly preferred.
- Expertise in manufacturing processes, automation, robotics, and CAD/CAM software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Proficiency in quality management systems and regulatory compliance in manufacturing.
