    Description

    Job Title- Manufacturing Engineer

    Pay rate- $37 per hour

    Duration- 12 Months

    Location- Fort Wayne, IN

    Position Summary

    Specialized assignment focused on creating manufacturing work instructions and procedures, converting them from current instruction system. Complete assignments to improve manufacturing processes and procedures, based on LEAN assembly principles. Plans sequence of operations and specifies procedures for assembly, dis-assembly, soldering, component removal/installation, coating and otherwise preparing basic material, exercising judgment in compromising between conflicting requirements, economic evaluation of methods and operator effectiveness and comfort. Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. SAFETY Maintain compliance to all aspects of Safety Proactively maintain a safe working environment Comply with audits QUALITY Promote a culture of 100% quality PROCESS EFFICIENCY Provide direct feedback to build and design processes PRODUCT COMPLIANCE Create, maintain and improve work instructions (e.g., planning, AWI, OSOPs)

    Skills Required

    Strong interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills. 2. Personal computer skills- Proficient Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) 3. Demonstrated self-motivation and ability to work independently 4. Attention to detail 5. Ability to work in a fast paced team environment.

    Experience Required:

    Minimum 4 years work experience required.

    Education Required:

    Associate's Degree, or equivalent four years work experience
