    ESSENTIAL PURPOSE OF THIS POSITION:


    Performs engineering assignments that may involve equipment, product or process design, testing of materials, preparation of specifications, process studies or research investigations.

    Instructions are provided on task specifications and design constraints. Review of new design or applications is provided.


    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Process EngineeringApplies standard techniques involving work on building and all physical plant support systems, working closely with Maintenance.
    Normally focuses on existing equipment or processes. Analyze and create process modifications and procedures to improve overall machine and operator efficiency, quality and costs.
    Develop, manage and direct process or equipment improvement projects generated by in-house representatives or others. Participates with production, maintenance and others to contribute to project completion. Assists with capital and expense projects.
    Participates with division engineering, maintenance, and others to contribute to project completion. Assists with capital and expense projects. Person shall participate in the Continuous Improvement and IATF16949:2016 programs.

    Coordinates work with other engineers and operating groups to facilitate participation of various organizational unitsAssist in troubleshooting equipment problems to include on-call rotation for problems.

    Environmental activities, including compliance with DOT and other regulatory agenciesAssist in maintaining shop-floor database system to include programming and on-call rotation for problems, in locations with that functionality.

    Provides assistance in environmental matters.

    Strong leadership with the ability to get results.
    Project Management.
    Effective coaching, facilitation, presentation and team building skills.flexibility and willingness to support projects and production on shifts.


    COMPUTER EQUIPMENT AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
    Microsoft Office and a CAD system
