Overview:

Located on approximately 10 acres of land adjacent to Florida Hospital, Apopka Health and Rehabilitation Center is designed with a split floor plan to provide resident privacy.

The 101,811 square foot center includes 36 private and the 72 semi-private well-appointed suites for a total of 180 beds.

Enclosed exterior courtyards feature multiple access points and plenty of shaded areas to maximize resident comfort and relaxation. A large state-of-the-art therapy gym opens onto a courtyard featuring an occupational therapy track or mobility garden. Residents enjoy daily activities in addition to an on-site movie cinema.


Responsibilities:

Health Information Manager:


  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN or have a Medical Records Certification_
Our community has an opportunity for a Health Information Manager.

The Health Information Manager is responsible for maintaining members' medical records in accordance with facility policies, state and federal regulations.

The Health Information Manager will establish a record prior to admission, maintain a master file for both in-house and discharged members, collect information from the nursing staff, therapists, physicians and other sources to keep records current, monitor and audit records for completeness and accuracy at assigned intervals, in accordance with facility policy, and informs Administrator and Director of Nursing Services of deficiencies in documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse/LPN or have medical records certification to qualify for this position
  • Training and/or certification or experience as required by the state
  • Experience with EMR/EHR preferred
