- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, including those with special needs or learning challenges.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Help students with assignments, projects, and activities as directed by the teacher.
- Supervise students during class, lunch, recess, and other activities.
- Reinforce positive behavior and social skills development.
- Assist with classroom management and discipline as needed.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other staff members to support student success.
- Perform clerical tasks such as grading, copying, and organizing classroom materials.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding student information and records.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
- Experience working with children or adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
- Knowledge of and ability to implement instructional strategies and acmodations.
