Job Description

  • Develop technical concepts for various drive components, taking into account functional, packaging, strength, weight, and manufacturing requirements
  • Independently design and develop component scopes; plan, implement, and coordinate design tasks
  • Work on projects in pre-development or series development; collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and customer departments, as well as coordinate with suppliers
  • Lead your responsible tasks from concept to series production
  • Evaluate spatial investigations and derive measures for clearance and collision issues

Qualifications

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, or equivalent technical education
  • Extensive practical experience with parametric 3D CAD and PDM systems - preferably in Catia V5 or Pro/Engineer (Creo)
  • Several years of professional experience in drive development, manufacturing processes, and mechanical machining
  • Ideally, you have already brought components from concept to series production in the following areas: aluminum/steel casting, air ducts, pipes, and lines
  • Analytical approach and structured working style, strong communication skills, and confident demeanor
