    Job Description

    Medical Malpractice Defense firm seeking a full-time Litigation Associate. Previous experience in Medical Malpractice is a plus but not required. Candidate must be in good standing with the California State Bar, self-motivated, and detail-oriented. We are a very busy, fast-paced firm based out of Newport Beach, CA.

    Compensation:

    $115,000 - $200,000 yearly

    Responsibilities:
    • Conduct research and assess legal issues
    • Prepare for trial proceedings
    • Prepare discovery responses
    • Interview witnesses and cross-examination
    • Trial experience is a plus, but not required
    • Manage existing caseload
    • Take and defend depositions
    • Legal research and writing
    Qualifications:
    • Must be a licensed attorney in good standing with the California State Bar
    • Demonstrate exceptional oral and written communication skills
    • Possess strong organizational, time-management, and problem-solving skills
    • Have experience with pre-trial, trial, and post-trial proceedings in a medical malpractice case setting
    • Have the ability to work collaboratively and be a team player
    • Be motivated to learn and be open to growth opportunities
    • Candidate must be able to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure
    • Must be able to communicate with clients in a timely manner
