Job Summary and QualificationsProvides leadership which facilitates the delivery of professional nursing care for the comfort and well-being of patients. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Implements medically prescribed interventions.
About the Unit:
PMCU: 16-bed pulmonary med surg unit that provides care for telemetry pulmonary patients. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to telemetry, bipap, tracheostomy, chest tubes, wounds, wound vac, drains, renal patients, IV insertion, maintenance of central lines, and post-op monitoring.
