ResponsibilitiesThe Valley Health System has grown into a comprehensive health network serving over two million individuals in Southern Nevada. Beginning with Valley Hospital Medical Center in 1979, the system now includes Desert Springs Hospital Medical Center, Centennial Hills Hospital Medical Center, Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center, Summerlin Hospital Medical Center, and Henderson Hospital.
Benefit Highlights:
The Clinical Teacher-Educator serves as an expert clinician, educator, consultant, and researcher. Collaborating with nursing and medical staff, the role involves monitoring patient care and offering clinical support to enhance patient outcomes.
Qualifications
Education: Master's Degree required, preferably in Nursing or a related healthcare field.
Experience: Minimum of five years of acute care nursing experience; demonstrated expertise in clinical program development, outcomes management, and education. Cardiac Subspecialty is necessary for Critical Care Areas.
Other: Proficiency in providing care appropriate to patient age groups.
Technical Skills: Understanding of the current Nevada State Board of Nursing Practice.
License/Certification: Must hold a current Registered Nurse license in Nevada. Certification in specialized area is preferred. BLS Certification is mandatory, and ACLS/PALS Certification is required based on specialty.
