- Manage the 24-hour operations of the Emergency Department, ensuring that the hospital meets the established standard of care.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of excellence in patient care.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient care outcomes.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of the nursing staff, providing feedback and coaching as needed.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and requirements.
- Manage the department budget and resources effectively.
- Participate in the recruitment, hiring, and retention of nursing staff.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing, BSN, Masters preferred
- Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience required
- Minimum of two (2) years progressive management experience required
- Computer proficiency to include word processing, spreadsheet and database.
- Current RN license in the State of Nevada
- Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care/service appropriate to the age of the patients served in the Emergency Department.
