This is an in-office position at DefenderShield's headquarters located in North St. Petersburg, FL.

You'll receive on the job paid training with peers and leaders, and as-needed on-going training to keep your knowledge up-to-date and to develop new skills.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Support at DefenderShield is our front-line source of communication and first point of contact with customers. You'll learn all the technical details of our products and technology, and use your knowledge to educate and assist customers. As the virtual "face" of the company it is important to create wonderful first impressions while building rapport and managing trusting relationships in all interactions.

• Learn and understand technical aspects of the technology, products, and brands
• Develop repeat business through knowledge of products and services to build customer loyalty
• Provide expert and knowledgeable answers to questions about our technology, products, orders, pricing, and shipping
• Help clients navigate our website and place orders online
• Process returns and refunds
• Promptly communicate customer feedback and product suggestions to management
• Potential to attend trade shows/conferences locally and in other states

REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION

• Quickly adapt to new technology and cloudbased software
• Ability to stay calm, levelheaded and resilient, and to convey empathy as well as professionalism
• Ability to independently manage and resolve complex and/or escalated situations
• Time management, organization/attention to detail, and decisionmaking skills

Days & Hours

• Starting salary $ $18.50/hour, depending on experience
• Fulltime, 8am4pm, 40 hours/week
• Parttime or seasonal may have less than 40 hours/week
• Monday-Thursday in office, Friday remote
