What you do and how you do it:

As a budget analyst, you're naturally curious about what's happening around you and willing to dig into the reports, ask questions and seek out answers.

You will be a key resource to support the greater finance team and county leadership.

Serving in this dynamic role, you will work collaboratively with team members to provide critical financial and management support, with a focus on:


  • Strong understanding of governmental budgeting methods and reporting
  • Technical expertise regarding reconciling financial reports
  • Working closely with departments to develop and analyze upcoming financial needs
  • Collaborating with core financial departments and assist in managing financial systems
  • Manage a rotating portfolio of department budgets across diverse business areas
  • Interesting and community relevant side projects involving economic/demographic data
  • Perform other work as required.

Here's What You Need:


Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Public Administration, Economics, or a related field; three years of responsible experience in a complex budgeting and/or fiscal management of a large department/organization; or equivalent combination of training and experience or education.

Monday - Friday; 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
