SUMMARY


The Project Manager, Industry Relations primary role will be assisting in planning and operational logistics for exhibits and sponsorships on behalf of the Center for Education department.

They will also assist the other areas of the industry team (satellites, training, affiliate meetings) as needed.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists in the business development and operational initiatives for exhibits and sponsorships for conferences ranging in size from 25010,000
  • Manage exhibit booth and sponsorship fulfillment process and exhibit activity at assigned events including setting up exhibitor portal, communicating with exhibitors and sponsors, managing exhibit space, coordinating sponsor approval of fulfillment items, signage, etc.; creating, tracking, and managing exhibit and sponsorship statistical information for events.
  • In coordination with the Manager of Exhibits, defines and develops prospectuses for all conferences, including goals, plans, schedules, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement a robust communications plan to achieve higher levels of exhibitor and sponsor engagement
  • Ensures the operational logistics for exhibits and sponsorships milestones are met in a timely fashion.
  • Acts as team lead for conferences working closely with vendors on large or complex projects.
  • Cultivates relationships with prospective clients and expands upon relationships with current clients.
  • Creates and manages event timelines which will include deadlines and electronic correspondence.
  • Oversees vendor relationships to ensure material pertaining to CRF educational events are a primary focus.
  • Creates industry awareness about CRF services and opportunities at CRF as well as externally sponsored meetings.
  • Analyzes industry trends to effectively identify future business opportunities and build plans to address them.
  • Manages the maintenance of Salesforce database, the organizations contact relationship management (CRM) database.
  • Conducts postservice evaluations, interprets the data and implements change based on feedback.
  • Collaborates with other internal departments to develop marketing and communication collaterals.
  • Provides the highest level of customer care to the client.
  • Attends CRFsponsored and other related conferences where applicable.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of project management experience.
  • Market knowledge of medical device and pharmaceutical industries that exhibit at interventional cardiology meetings.
  • Experience with contract review, analysis and negotiation.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills, patience, professionalism and ability to effectively interact with clients, prospective clients, staff and management alike.
  • Strong focus on flexibility, ability to multitask, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, good followup and judgment. Must be able to prioritize.
  • Ability to verbally communicate effectively with CRF staff, physicians, senior managers and their assistants, vendors, industry professionals and event attendees.
  • Ability to have a big picture perspective and understand implications.
