    Description


    The Brand Specialist - Skechers drives sales and profit through analysis of business for all channels in the organization, inclusive of brick & mortar as well as eCommerce.

    The Brand Specialist - Skechers works closely with all cross-functional partners and vendors to ensure success and the best customer experience.

    Job Functions
    Order Entry and Maintenance

    Set up and attribute all new Styles
    Key PO's, Maintain PO and adjust ship dates
    Maintain accurate PO Log
    Set up and maintain all SSD groups

    Pricing

    Accurate entry of Weekly Promotional Pricing and monthly permanent markdowns
    Develop the promotional strategy in partnership with buyer, planner, and vendor
    Review and assess aged product and slow sellers and create an exit strategy based on findings, in partnership with buyer, planner, and vendor

    Business Analysis

    Perform Analysis on the business performance and provide Business Recaps/Reviews: Weekly report out on KPI's to identify wins and opportunities
    Sizing - Responsible for maintaining size profiles ensuring they are optimizing inventory and margin
    Maintain ladders on key items/programs collaborate with buyers/planners/vendors optimizing sales and influencing receipt flow
    Establish relationship as Skecher's rep to drive business

    Assortment Architecture

    Perform hind sighting to improve future allocations & inform APX/assortment architecture, choice count, sku depth, & store clustering
    Create store clusters to optimize volume, demographic, and regional indicators
    Participate in Final Buy/Style outs as the Skechers expert


    Education / Experience Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree required
    1-2 years planning or buying experience

    Specific work or project experience:
    Demonstrated experience using merchandising & planning systems

    Industry experience:
    Corporate buying or planning office experience OR relative wholesale experience (e.g. account executive, sales assistant, retail planner)

    Knowledge & Skills
    Performs retail math calculations and utilizes formulas for analysis, pricing, and marketing activities
    Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to present in a professional manner and to communicate with all merchandising levels, stores, and vendors
    Ability to collaborate with cross functional teams and work in a team environment
    Capable of shifting to different projects as priorities change
    Successfully navigates ambiguity and drives business results regardless of obstacles
    Ability to use corporate retail merchandising systems to support buying & planning activities
    Demonstrated ability to develop recommendations based on trends and data analysis
    Ability to identify market trends and color concepts
