- Handle daily financial tasks such as processing transactions for accounts payable and receivable and posting journal entries to the general ledger.
- Assist in preparing payroll, tax returns, and other HR and financial compliance reporting.
- Maintain, analyze, and report on budgets, comparing budgeted costs to actual costs, and manage asset records.
- Coordinate with the Controller and CFO to provide various financial and accounting reports.
- Conduct bank, sales, vendor, and group reconciliations and produce written procedures for accounting practices.
- Support both internal and external audits, including preparations with external CPAs and compliance with tax legislation and 401(k) testing.
- Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and familiarity with Odoo is preferred.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Accountant for a client in the consumer products industry based in southeast Austin. This role will apply principles of accounting and finance to analyze financial information and prepare a variety of financial reports, requiring a high degree of discretion and confidentiality.
In addition to holding a Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting, the ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of accounting experience, including expertise in accounting and auditing principles, and a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills.
