    Description

    JOB STATEMENT: The Human Resources Generalist must be a well-rounded Human Resources professional that is highly competent and experienced.

    Essential Duties:

    • various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; prepares and maintains the employee handbook and policies and procedures
    • company organization charts
    • in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to continually improve efficiency of the department and services performed
    • compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.
    • or provides training to management on policies and procedures
    • and monitors employee performance evaluations and ensures they are done in a timely manner (i.e., three months, six months, one year and yearly thereafter)
    • in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
    • counsels and guides managers before executing employee disciplinary actions
    • employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing
    • reporting
    • termination
    • hand in hand with payroll department
    • FMLA and leave of absences

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    Education/Experience:

    • of 5 years of HR/Generalist experience
    • Degree with a concentration in Human Resources preferred
    • work experience in Human Resources role
    • in all Microsoft Office Suite applications
    • with HCM systems
    • with Paycom or other timekeeping systems
    • as an HR team member in a production environment is also preferred
    • Safe driving

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • relations
    • labor laws
    • HACCP and GMP
    • Company safety policies
    • and manage simultaneous responsibilities effectively
    • confidential at all times
