Description
This position encompasses both administrative and clinical aspects of medical assisting.It includes, but is not limited to, check-in, check-out, answering telephone calls, verifying insurance benefits, scheduling and confirming appointments, collecting copays, deductibles and balances, processing requests for medical records, obtaining vitals and other pertinent information from patients, assisting with exams and in-office procedures.
The Medical Assistant has direct responsibility to ensure that all care performed and tasks delegated are provided in accordance with this clinic's policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations.
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
