Description

As our Audio and Visual Support Technician, you will have responsibility for onsite meetings and various events as well as oversight of the AV infrastructure, ensuring equipment is current with security patches and system updates.

For onsite small to medium events, you will be responsible to determine and plan for equipment needs.

On the date of the event, you will assemble the appropriate equipment (mics, speakers, audio mixers and projectors/screens, etc.) and run the event from a technology standpoint.

What You'll Do
Every day, you will be proactively responsible to ensure conference room equipment is tested and validated for full functionality.
Every day, you will respond to user issues operating AV equipment in conference rooms or executive offices. You could be doing a combination of the following.

Audio:
microphones, speakers, sound systems, channel mixers, etc.

Video:
LCD, LED, projectors, screen, monitors, etc.

Lighting:
GOBO, gels, up lighting, basic lighting kits, stage lighting, etc.

Computers:
Extensive knowledge of PC and Mac software.
On occasion you will work on editing basic raw video clips for presentations.
As needed for projects or infrastructure work you will work with outside vendors and technology providers

What You'll Need
To thrive in this role, you will need advanced knowledge and experience with AV set-ups, and strikes.
You should have knowledge or background in AV technology in conference rooms, specific knowledge of Polycom (HP/Poly) and Crestron products will be a benefit
You must be comfortable communicating to all levels of staff, management, and executives.
You will flourish if you have a background in either hospitality or customer service.
You'll need to be flexible when it comes to your schedule to accommodate onsite events.

You will also need to be able to lift up to 75 lbs., have a valid driver's license, clean driving record to be able to operate one of our company vehicles if needed.

The starting pay range for this position is:
$ $48.93
