    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

    We are partnering with a school in the Chester, Pennsylvania area to find a part-time Special Education Teacher (SPED) to support students for our summer school session. We are looking for a knowledgeable and talented candidate to join our Special Education team


    Position Details:

    • 06/26/ /01/2024
    • Part-time:20 hours per week
    • Monday - Thursday, 8:15am - 1:15 pm
    • Caseload: AS, ES, LS; specific caseload details will be discussed during the interview process


    Requirements:

    • Must have a valid Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate
    • Must have an active Pennsylvania Special Education License
    • Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree in Special Education, or related field
    • Must be willing and able to plete Pennsylvania credentialing process (Background check, Physical, TB Test, etc.)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement IEPs that cater to the specific needs of each student, setting achievable and measurable educational goals.
    • Use a variety of instructional strategies and materials to enhance learning and meet the diverse needs of students.
    • Assess students performance and track their progress, adapting educational plans accordingly.
