Description
Daycare AssistantDuties:
- Provide caregiving and support to children in a daycare setting
- Assist with daily activities, including feeding, diapering, and naptime routines
- Engage children in ageappropriate play and educational activities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for children
- Assist with classroom management, including supervising children during playtime and learning activities
- Implement behavior management strategies as directed by the lead teacher or supervisor
- Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the wellbeing and development of each child
Experience:
A PLUS BUT NOT REQUIRED
- Previous experience working with children, such as nannying, babysitting, or working in a daycare or school setting
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and other staff members
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Knowledge of child development principles and ageappropriate activities
Note:
CPR and First Aid certification may required or preferred for this position.
