- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language abilities, including articulation, fluency, voice, and language skills.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and goals based on assessment findings, in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team.
- Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups, targeting areas of need identified in their Individualized Education Plans.
- Monitor student progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and regularly communicate with parents and teachers to provide updates on student goals and achievements.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other related service providers to support a multidisciplinary approach to student learning and development.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessment results, therapy sessions, and progress reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- State licensure as a SLPin Washington.
- Educational Staff AssociateCertificate: School Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Prior experience working with school-aged children with a variety of speech and language disorders.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech and language therapy, including assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Full-time position (37.5 hours per week)
- School hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
