    Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Port Orchard, WA Dates: August 27, June 13, 2025 Hours: 37.5 hours per week Job Type: Full-Time/Contract Job Overview:

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Comprehensive Assessments: Perform detailed evaluations of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders using the latest diagnostic tools and techniques.
    • Individualized Treatment Plans: Develop and implement personalized therapy plans that are evidence-based and tailored to meet each clients unique needs.
    • Direct Therapy Services: Provide high-quality, one-on-one and group therapy sessions to clients across diverse age groups and backgrounds.
    • Collaborative Care: Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support the educational and developmental goals of clients.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain thorough and accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports in compliance with state and federal regulations.
    • IEP Participation: Actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, providing valuable insights and recommendations for speech and language goals and accommodations.
    • Community Engagement: Conduct screenings and outreach programs to identify and support individuals who may benefit from speech-language services.
    • Family and Caregiver Training: Offer training and resources to parents, caregivers, and educators to enhance the communication development of clients.
    • Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest research, trends, and best practices in speech-language pathology to continuously improve service delivery.

    Qualifications:

    • Educational Background: Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
    • Licensure: Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Certification: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
    • Experience: Previous experience working with children and/or adults with speech and language disorders is highly desirable.
    • Skills: Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in using state-of-the-art assessment tools and therapy techniques.
    • Team Player: Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to sit, stand, and move around for extended periods.
    • Ability to lift and move therapy materials and equipment as necessary.
