Celtic Developers Group is in search of General Managers to oversee one of our bustling locations situated in NYC. We operate four vibrant venues in NoMad, Union Square, Times Square, and Midtown East, focusing on the **Hospitality** sector and providing a captivating atmosphere. Our establishments feature lively bars that create a sense of camaraderie among our patrons.

We aim to offer a lavish setting where each evening is elevated with a hint of refined revelry. The responsibilities of a General Manager encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Leading a dynamic team of Front of House (FoH) and Back of House (BoH) staff
  • Implementing, supervising, and upholding all operational policies
  • Aiding in financial forecasting and budgeting for controllable expenditures
  • Complete Profit and Loss Management, overseeing budgets, forecasts, labor, and profitability
  • Ensuring compliance with food handling, sanitation, and safety standards to maintain an 'A' grade from the Department of Health (DOH)
  • Adhering to regulations concerning DOH, fire safety, and employment standards
  • Fostering a culture of excellence starting from the management level
  • Collaborating with the Marketing Director to manage a robust events program
  • Leading a team of 60-80 employees with a blend of firmness and kindness
Required Skills:
  • Exemplify honesty, integrity, and leadership
  • Hold a NYC DOH Food Handlers Certification
  • 3-6 years experience as a General Manager in a sizable full-service establishment (NYC experience preferred)
  • Experience in various facets of the restaurant industry with a genuine appreciation for all team members
  • Team player mentality with strong communication skills
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Possess a good sense of humor, hospitality passion, and a humble approach
  • Experience in restaurant openings is a bonus
