Role Overview:
Our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team provides strategic and financial partnership to EA's Leadership team.
We achieve this through engaging with our partners to understand our broad strategy, analyzing data, and delivering insights to guide EA's performance.
As the Director Finance - Heartbeat Portfolio & EA SPORTS Technology, you will lead business support for our Heartbeat franchises (including F1, NHL, UFC, WRC) and technology team for EA SPORTS.
Responsibilities:
You will partner with senior leaders across EA SPORTS including our VP / General Manager, Head of Operations & Publishing, Executive Producers and their leadership teams to lead across all financial elements associated with the delivery of our Heartbeat & EA SPORTS Technology strategies.
Manage the holistic health of our franchises, including full P&L responsibility
Lead the financial planning process, including the long-range, annual, and quarterly planning cycles
In partnership with the studio and analytics team, manage and oversee net bookings forecasts for live services
Establish and track performance measurements across all major offerings and projects
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support our partners
Guidance on core finance processes, building efficiencies and streamlining deliverables
Attract and mentor a team that provides insight and value to their partners and supports their development
Qualifications:
7+ years of relevant experience in financial planning & analysis
Experience leading and managing a team
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field or equivalent years of working experience
Excellent MS Excel and PowerPoint expertise required, knowledge in Anaplan, Power BI, Tableau and Oracle
Experience in game development, mobile entertainment, or digital businesses.
Demonstrated expertise in delivering clear and meaningful insights to partners and maintain professional relationships at all organizational levels
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these locations.

EA has listed the base salary ranges it in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in the locations listed, as of the time of this posting.
Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs.
Sacramento):
o $162,300 - $252,600 USD Annually
British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs.
Victoria):
o $134,250 - $202,100 CAN Annually
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA.
In the US, we offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.For British Columbia, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top-up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full-time employees.
