    Description

    Minimum Requirements

    • 6+ years of experience in the construction industry focused on structural systems
    • Familiarity with US building codes and structural design standards.
    • 100% out in the field field observations, checking in on construction progress
    • Progress reporting to engineers, designers
    • Working heavily with contractors
    • Navigating drawings and construction safety
    • Project focused on Steel construction concrete and steel
    • Familiarity and experience with Navisworks, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite
    • Detail-oriented and technical, yet experienced enough to see the big picture
    • Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements and timelines
    • Ability to uphold the use of standards and escalate issues in a timely fashion
    • Self-directed, highly motivated self-starter with solid writing and verbal communication skills
    • Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
    • Must be onsite full-time in Austin, TX

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelors Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Construction Management.
    • Experience in structural design of buildings for high-tech infrastructure, industrial, or operational facilities (semiconductor, solar, battery, etc.)
    • Familiarity with Revit Structural
    • Registered and in good standing as a Professional Engineer (PE)
    • Experience with reading and/or developing construction schedules (Primavera P6 or similar)
    • Working proficiency in Spanish Language
    • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Safety Certification
    • Experience performing inspections of concrete and steel structures
