- Determine styles to buy stock in and the appropriate depth to meet market demand.
- Dictate wholesale pricing tiers based on margin targets, ensuring profitability.
- Provide our Japan team with accurate sales forecasts to streamline production and distribution.
- Collaborate with the Sales Team Manager to select styles to solicit, aligning with company goals and customer preferences.
- Negotiate pricing with third-party partners to secure the best possible deals for our company.
- Track deliveries of orders and coordinate with the sales team to optimize release dates and maximize sales opportunities.
- Work closely with the Connect Web Director to strategize sales initiatives, adjust pricing strategies, and coordinate release dates for online platforms.
- Utilize your lens buyer experience to identify and source unique products that resonate with our target audience.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in buying or planning, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
- Deep knowledge of anime and pop culture, with a genuine enthusiasm for the industry and its communities.
- Experience as a lens buyer is a plus, demonstrating an understanding of market trends and consumer preferences.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively engage with internal teams and external partners.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, capable of handling multiple tasks and prioritizing effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Sheets, with the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver results in a demanding, deadline-driven environment.
- Exceptional business and financial acumen, coupled with strong analytical skills to drive informed purchasing decisions.
