What to expect from us
:


  • Creative visualization of the cover topics of our print magazine _Focus_
  • Image production and selection in coordination with the editors
  • Development, creation, editing and coordination of cover pages
  • Creative (further) development of visual concepts (layouts, selfpromotion, new developments)
  • Production supervision and quality management of covers until printing
  • Continuous creative exchange with other departments (editorial, production) and the editorinchief

What we expect from you
:


  • A successfully completed degree in communication design, multimedia design or media design or a comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience in the field of editorial design for a print magazine
  • Interest in journalism and visualizing sociopolitical topics
  • High competence in concept and design as well as professional routine in idea generation and development of design concepts
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite programs, especially Photoshop and InDesign
  • Enjoyment in reconceptualizing and creatively developing the Focus brand
  • High level of flexibility, independence and accuracy in work
